Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course you will:

  • Learn guidelines for floor area, space configuration and utilization, air conditioning load and electrical power requirements for typical TRACON buildings;

  • Learn guidelines for floor area, space configuration and utilization, air conditioning load and electrical power requirements for typical ACSFAC buildings;

  • Learn guidelines for floor area, space configuration and utilization, air conditioning load and electrical power requirements for typical JCF buildings;

  • Learn guidelines for floor area, space configuration and utilization, air conditioning load and electrical power requirements Air Traffic Control Towers and their Base buildings;

  • Learn about the special architectural configuration and finish requirements for the various facilities;

  • Learn about security requirements for airport and airfield facilities; and

  • Learn when and where uninterruptible power supplies are needed..
